What I Can Do for You

Making a special request isn’t something I plan to do when I start selling. But later on, after making so many and dealing with more customers, I found out that custom design is a necessary service for you.

These are the things I have done so far to custom to your ideas..

1. You might like the style but it’s not your favorite color: I would be more than happy to give you options of the hues.  Usually what works is you choose one of the color option you really want, and I manage to match the rest of the complexion.

My friend Jeny request to have the below Celtic earrings on this post in Topaz instead of Vert.   I love how it turned out honestly and never have thought to have this color combination put together. so, Thank’s Jen!

2.  “One is not enough, I want the matching necklace/bracelet/earrings that goes with it”: Still on Jeny, she works in an office environment where everybody is expected to wear business casual, so a variety pendant could go so conveniently with her formal outfit. So here it is!  She can wear it just the pendant with her own white gold chain necklace, it drops down perfectly a little bit above her clevage and it’d hang so cute inside her formal jacket.  Or wear both earrings and pendant while going to a party.

P7200161

Hera also had somewhat the same idea, she just absolutely love Dusty Pearl earrings from this post and want me to make a matching necklace. She wore it to her daughter’s graduation (she’s graduating from pre-school by the way) with her violet outfit, spot the photo on her facebook. Absolutely stunning!

3. “I like this style in that color”:  You probably already notice that Jeny really know what she wants as far as designs and style. It is as if she design her own.  I love to listen to my customers because with that I most of the time get more ideas to develop.  This time she love the idea of two pendant dropping down like this style, but want to have the crystal of  Green Stupa (the second photo from this post) And this is how it turned out. She loves it!

P7200168-1

4. “I just love your earrings, but it’s way too long for me”: It’s alright. I can make it shorter.  Like this one below, the original length is 8 cm.

P5180512ok

As per request, I shorten it to 5 cm. Actually it turned out better!

P5290044med

5. You might have a dress but not sure how to accessorize it:  Maybe you have traditional sari, cheong sam, or kebaya, or even too plain party dress to wear to a special occasion. Bring it on, I’ll be more than happy to work something out for you.

Still Life

Growing this business with a pure self-learning skill, I learn to evolve my knowledge along with the trend.  Finding inspiration from a successful designer is one, but observing is another thing that I find easier to adapt.   I love to collect things every now and then, I love looking at things and try to think of ways how it would look like if that thing wears jewelry or being captured with the jewelry.  To give different angle to what jewelry is or perhaps a sense of still life in a way..

This is Lime natural rocks Y necklace in vintage brass metal.  It is hanging at the neck of reuse label-stripped-off Evian glass bottle.

Sarang Earrings with Purple Crystals photographed with miniature object.  This french-style chair miniature has been with me since I was 10 years old, you perhaps can see the vintage effect on this porcelain chair.

p6050008

Dangling earrings in milky sapphire tone crystal, roughly around 8mm in diameter.  I set up a blue cloud background to give “heavenly” effect.

p6050025

As if this bracelet is a hang-dry wet laundry. This is one of my favorite color, not only it shines but also it resemblance the color of a happy sky, match with the background.

p6050044

On the dried rose. I have a mini rose plant on my front garden and when it blooms I cut them and put them in the middle of the living room until it dried they become a potpourri.  Didn’t realize that it would turn out good as I worry that the background will be too overcrowded with the dried petals, thorns and bushes, but seriously it blends perfectly. Pearl and Rose.

This is off-white pearl, very demure and sophisticated, I had set the background from inside of a novel title Man and Boy by Tony Parson, the book I am currently reading.

Syl’s

Really having fun making old designs, I do! These four jewelries, one bracelet and three earrings, are made with passion.  They are Syl’s order. Hei girl, it’s all ready for pick up ;)

The top left, Cobalt, are my last piece for now.  I won’t be able to make them until I am not sure when, Lately it’s been hard to find natural beads teardrop shape in this color this size.  What makes it harder is that you can only make something with them so much because there is no guarantee that it will be available next time you want them. Different from manufactured beads or crystals, even, you can just order more and often it is available for bulk purchase. Natural beads can’t.

The down right is my super gorgeous simple bracelet.  Along with that, I have one pair of earrings I made just to match the bracelet,

p6010077ok

The earrings’ length are 3 cm.  The top pearl beads is 8mm in diameter, and 6mm on each on the three underneath.  No it’s not new, I have been having them for a while. Just gotta show it off, again!

Are these ok?

Tegart the Elephant

an-elephant-name-tegart

When I was in college I worked part time selling cutlery system, and one of the power sellers is Super Shears it cuts through chicken bones, we proved it by cuting a penny into half. But just to make the presentation more interesting, we try to make animals out of the penny.  And here it is!

After ten years, I still keep him, I would consider this as one of my artwork, altho I know that hurting the government property isn’t a legal act. (sshhhh!!)

Well, in case I have to go back into being salesman, I would include Mr. Tegart the Elephant into the presentation, so I can close more sales.  Meanwhile, we keep him busy doing a modelling work for me, not a bad job at all *wink*

On the photo above is Mr. Tegart posing with a bohemian chandelier earrings in Turmaline and Erinite Swarovski crystals.

This one below, is Made in India, a three-layer engine red bracelet.

p5200741okok

The middle part is enameled plate combined with different beads. Swarovski, of course, in it. I love how the chain lies on Mr. Tegart’s neck. It’s involving.

and Ian, the Ironing Board (not sure what role he’s on), he’s the strongest though, can you see  he’s down there  supporting Amber to hold the long earrings?

p5200710

Picture above is Amber and Sue try to support my long convertible gold necklace.  Oh I know I don’t do this usually but, I can’t help it, they’re too cute not to have their own names.  And I love them as much as I love my jewelries.

Czech Crystals, Shell, and Long Earrings

Finally my desktop is back from being quarantine.. While she is being hospitalized, I went to the shop and bought some beautiful Czech crystals… went home and made some earrings..

Aren’t earrings the most favorite subject amongst the jewelry category? I think so!! And I DO recommend almost every female to have their ears pierced and wear earrings on all occasion..

Ok, I am not sure if it’s too much or not.. but yeah, you get the idea..

I found a “treasure” from the drawer long time ago, shells. At the beginning the plan was to drill them holes and make necklace, but I think for now it is suitable for photo props.

p5180444

This is combination of peach and champagne Czech crystals, and Light Peach swarovski 4mm diamond shape. The baroque pearls are from fresh water, the color is naturally pearly peach.

Three layer and size Czech crystals

And last is my favorite, a dusty pearl in grey color pair up with Violet 4mm Swarovski.
