This is Amber, she is a sugar container in a shape of short fat mannequin. I’d like you to meet her family members:

This is Sue the teapot in a shape of Sewing Machine

The Roll of Thread name Rollies. His role are the tea cups,

Betty, Piles of buttons (the saucer),

and Ian, the Ironing Board (not sure what role he’s on), he’s the strongest though, can you see he’s down there supporting Amber to hold the long earrings?

Picture above is Amber and Sue try to support my long convertible gold necklace. Oh I know I don’t do this usually but, I can’t help it, they’re too cute not to have their own names. And I love them as much as I love my jewelries.

I am not done yet with the wedding cakes, and I have a hunch that I will be busy creating more inedible wedding cakes on cards. Inspired from the wedding party I attended, a childhood pleasure of eating a piece of beautiful wedding cakes, sugar craving, to a hidden desire of wanting to successfully bake one real wedding cake. One time I bake a cake for someone’s birthday, and it was a complete failure, I don’t know if I ever recover from the trauma. Meanwhile, I reckon that this suits me better so far…

Have a good day! I hope you enjoy them as I enjoy making them…

These links I found useful to make your own photo-booth
http://drawingsinmotion.blogspot.com/2009/01/making-of-light-box.html
http://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-make-a-inexpensive-light-tent
http://whiteroomcolorfullife.blogspot.com/2009/01/light-box-on-cheap.html
And here is my own personal light box..
I shoot with three lights, in Cool Daylight shades, 23 watts, 18 watts, and 21 watts. On three sides: left, right, and above. One of the result is here.
And here..
This is my camera case (I’m using Olympus FE-190 6.0 megapixel) I bought last September in Bali. I love it so much I bought like a dozen of them, I keep two and the rest I gave them away for each one of my girlfriends. They love it too!
If it’s not bright enough, I edit it with Picasa, you can download it here,
http://picasa.google.com/
What I like about Picasa is not only it’s for free, but you can also store your file in their web album, and then for me who aren’t so good at using the technique, it has “I’m feeling lucky” button I use it all the time.

Above are the difference. Sometimes it won’t work because it would enhance the shadow rather than the highlight, but it works most of the time.
Below are the result of my experiment..

Happy trying and hope that help.

I had been thinking of providing a step by step to make the flower above, but Tracy has done a really good job with it and nobody would ever done it better.
I did my flowers oriental style with red petals and yellow core. I love how it turned out and these never-fading flower stays in my working table all day.
